I believe that we have only begun to discover what photography can transmit as one of the most impactful modes of communication ever discovered. I see photography, not so much a ‘taking’ process, but more a 'revealing' experience where light unveils latent images and which then become permeated  with deeper meanings.  Minor White described the goal of a committed photographer as aiming to “get from the tangible to the intangible, to render the image in such a way that it becomes a metaphor for something else..."  It is these universal, mysterious connections that I am interested in discovering through photography.
